Prime Minister supported the UCAB proposal of reviewing the ratio of normative-monetary value of agricultural lands
Оn the 3-rd of July, in Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine was held a meeting, chaired by Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov, with the participation of the Association "Ukrainian Agribusiness Club" and other leading agricultural professional associations of Ukraine. During the meeting, President of UCAB Alex Lissitsa announced for Head of the government the urgent for solving questions of agrarian sector of Ukraine.
«Prime Minister supported the UCAB proposal of reviewing the ratio of normative-monetary value of agricultural lands and suspended the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decision, dated October 31, 2011 #1185 “On amendments to the methodology of normative monetary value of agricultural land and settlements” to development of a new ratio. This decision will be noticeable support for farmers this year, which is extremely difficult on the weather conditions, "- said Alex Lissitsa.
According to President of UCAB, there were also raised questions by him for discussion with the Prime Minister about VAT rebates for grain producers and promotion manufacturing of agricultural machinery in Ukraine by reducing the degree of localization, ranging from 10%.
In addition, during the meeting it was analyzed the question of grain market forecasts of harvest this year. In particular, the Prime Minister expressed the opinion that now it would be necessary to pay much attention for promotion of grain production export from Ukraine and stressed that there would not be any restrictions on the export of Ukrainian goods this year.
However, other representatives of professional associations voiced need to simplify the certification of storage space, settlement of issues on the approval of land use plans, etc. Mykola Azarov expressed willingness to make advances to farmers to simplification the certification of storage facilities in Ukraine.
