Over 16 million tons of grain sold on exchange market
The volume of 2009 harvest grain sold on Ukraine's exchange market totaled 16.408 million tons, the press service of the Ukrainian Agriculture Ministry has reported.
Some 6.85 million tons of grain was sold under spot contracts, and 9.55 million tons was sold under forward contracts.
A total of 35,470 tons of grain was sold under domestic contracts, and 16.373 million tons was sold under export contracts.
