Obolon cuts beer output
In 2009, one of Ukraine's largest breweries, Kyiv-based CJSC Obolon, reduced beer production by 14.8% to 96.6 million decaliters, the company's press-service has said.
The whole beer market, according to UkrBeer Association, fell down only by 6.2% to 300,500 million decaliters.
The Obolon brewery (key trademarks Obolon, Magnat, Hike, Desant, Gin-Tonic, Rum-Cola, Maxitos, Prozora, Zhyvchyk) produces beer, low-alcohol beverages and soft drinks at six enterprises in Ukraine.
