Meat production up
In September , meat production in live weight increased by 11% in Ukraine compared to August. The growth was registered mainly due to poultry and pork, UKRINFORM reports with reference to the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation.
Analysts say that dietetic meat was always demonstrating a good dynamics, while positive trends were for the first time fixed with pork in early autumn. At the same time, experts hope that volumes of pork production will further grow.
As referred to beef, forecasts are worse: a level of 2008 will be reached no earlier than in summer 2010.
