Land market can appear in Ukraine no earlier than in 2014 - expert
The land market in Ukraine can appear no earlier than in 2014, senior analyst of the Phoenix Capital investment company Andriy Nesteruk told a round table Agroindustrial Complex of Ukraine - Competitive Sector of Economy.
"Until rent rates in the country are USD 30/ha, introduction of the land market can lead to mass sale of the resource at USD 200/ ha conventionally. Therefore, the state should establish the minimum price, both for rent and sale of land. Otherwise, the land will be purchased by banks for nothing and will become a subject of further speculations", he said.
