Kernel agricultural holding intends to attract investments at USD 65mln
One of leading grain traders and sunflower seed oil producers in Ukraine Kernel Group announced about its intention to attract USD 65 million investments by way of issue of shares, the Phoenix Capital investment company press service informed.
Taking into consideration that as of December 31, 2009, the monetary funds amount on Kernel's accounts made up USD 50 million, and bills receivable amounted to USD 50 million, the Phoenix Capital believes that Kernel is able to complete the merger of Allseeds and potentially is ready to conclude other deals.
Allseeds will increase Kernel's capacities on production of sunflower seed oil by 40% and storing capacities - by 35%, transport capacities - by 46%. In addition, the company will purchase assets at a reasonable price.
