Kazakhstan to increase customs duties for imports of main foodstuff
Kazakhstan increases customs duties for imports of main foodstuffs, adequately produced in the country, declared Akylbek Kurishbaev, the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, on May 19.
Kazakhstan imposes the special technical regulations to all main foodstuffs, in order to support the domestic market from imports, noticed A.Kurishbaev.
According to him, the market has two main problems: the absence of qualitative raw material for processing enterprises and the low level of competition of the enterprises compared to the main foreign trading competitors.
