Kazakhstan produced 8.7 mln tonnes of grains
As of September 7, 2011, Kazakhstan harvested grains throughout the areas of 5794.3 thsd ha, and produced 8674.3 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 15 c/ha (an increase of 6.7 c/ha compared to 2010 - 8.3 c/ha), declared the Ministry of Agriculture.
Agrarians of Zhambyl oblast almost completed the harvesting works and harvested grains throughout 95.7% of the planned areas with the yield of 16.4 c/ha), South Kazakhstan oblast harvested grains throughout 85.4% of the plan with the yield of 13.4 c/ha.
