Industrial production in July grows by 5.1% - State Statistics Service
Industrial production in Ukraine in July 2013 grew by 5.1% compared with June 2013, the State Statistics Service has reported.
However, according to the State Statistics Service, in annual terms (compared with July 2012), industrial production shrank by 4.9%. In January-July 2013 compared with the same period last year, the reduction in industrial production amounted to 5.3%.
The mining industry in July 2013 grew by 5.2% month-on-month and shrank by 0.9% year-on-year.
The processing industry rose by 4.3% month-on-month and fell by 7.5% year-on-year.
Supply of electricity, natural gas, steam and conditioned air in July 2013 grew by 8.9% month-on-month and shrank by 1.4% year-on-year.
