In July, Ukraine lowered grain export volumes
In July 2010, Ukraine exported 700 thsd tonnes of grains, declared Viktor Slauta, the Vice Prime-Minister of Ukraine.
According to him, in the same period of the last year, Ukraine exported nearly 1.5 mln tonnes of grains.
V.Slauta also marked that in the nearest 2-3 weeks, prices for grains on Ukrainian and the world markets will lower, because the present prices are speculative.
The Vice Prime-Minister also noticed that the Agrarian Fund received the task to purchase 4-5 mln tonnes of grains.
