In Jan-Oct agrarians shortened sugar beet sales by 36.9%, to 1.6 mn MT
As to State Statistics Committee, within Jan-Oct 2009 agricultural companies have reduced sugar beet sales to 1.6 mn MT, down 937,000 MT
(- 36.9%) against Jan-Oct 2008.
As for Jan-Oct 2009 sugar beet sales structure, companies have sold 79.4% total sugar beet to processors; 20.6% sugar beet were sold through other trade channels.
Reportedly, within Jan-Oct 2008 agrarians sold 2.537 mn MT sugar beet.
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, within Jan-Sept 2009 agricultural companies had lowered sugar beet sales to 265,043 MT, down 132,887 MT (- 33.4%) as of Jan-Sept 2008.
