In 2010, Ukraine to harvest 45-48 mln tonnes of grains
In the current year, grain harvest in Ukraine will total 45-48 mln tonnes of grains as opposed to 46 mln tonnes in the previous year, forecasted Nikholay Prysyashnyuk, the Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.
According to the Minister, despite the delay of the spring field works in the current year due to the difficult weather conditions, Ukraine will manage to sow spring crops in good time.
To date, agrarians provide spring sowing works in southern regions of the country, and central regions will start the field works in one week.
