Grain exports from Ukraine to decrease by 30%
In 2009/10 MY, grain exports from Ukraine will possibly decrease by 30%, declared Dmytro Berezovsky, the President of the Agrarian Chamber of Ukraine.
According to him, the complexity of the financial position of the market, problems with the VAT repayment, ineffective activities of the Agrarian Fund with grain purchases, and establishment of the new system of gain classification became the main reason of the reduction of grain exports in Ukraine.
According to D.Berezovsky, the new grain quality standards, established in Ukraine, declassifies many varities of grains and worsens possibilities of favorable export sales.
