Government predicts GDP growth in 2010
In 2010, Ukraine's nominal GDP will reach UAH 1.178 trillion, and real GDP - 103.7% of 2009. This forecast was made in the 2010 state program for economic and social development, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers and presented in parliament on November 19.
Under the government's estimates, industrial output will grow by 2.9%, and agricultural output by 6%. The index of consumer prices December on December is envisaged at 109.7% (average annual 111.2%). The government expects in 2010 increase in direct foreign investments at the level of USD 8 billion.
