For the first time in 11 years in Ukraine recorded an increase herd of cattle
Meat production (live weight) in Ukraine in January-May 2012 decreased by 0.9% a year to 1.226 MMT.
Egg production in January-May 2012 increased by 0.8% to 7.931 billion units.
For the first time in six years, milk production in Ukraine grows in 2012. So in January-May 2012 milk production increased by 2,6% - to 4.287 MMT.
For the first time in 11 years in Ukraine recorded an increase herd of cattle.
It should be noted that on June 1, 2012 herd of cattle and poultry increased compared to June 1, 2011 – by 0.1% to 5.197 million and by 2% to 221.279 million heads respectively. While herd of pigs has decreased by 2.9% to 7.706 million heads
