Floor purchase prices of sugar up
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has increased the minimal purchase prices of sugar to UAH 3,750 per ton (1 USD - 8.0 UAH).
Beside that, the government decided to introduce starting on October 1 the mechanism of collateral state purchase of sugar to the Agrarian Fund.
Earlier Agricultural Policy Minister Yuriy Melnyk reported that the government would not restrict the volumes of these purchases. "Everything will depend on the offer in the market," the minister said.
