Farmers harvest 1.89 million MT of rape as of Oct 1, State Statistics Committee
As of October 1, farmers had harvested 1.89 million MT of rapeseeds (winter and spring) from the area of 1,010,600 hectares, the State Statistics Committee has reported.
The average rape yield is 18.7 centners per hectare in 2009.
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, as of September 1 farmers had harvested 1.879 million MT of rapeseeds.
