European Union - Decline in milk production '
EU milk deliveries continued their seasonal decline (on a daily average basis) in August, but the expansive trends evident since May strengthened compared with last year, according to analysts ZMB and AMI.
Dairies took in on average 2.7% more milk in August compared with 2009, with the advance over last year widening significantly compared with previous months. The unusually cool and rainy weather probably contributed to the higher production
