Exports of agricultural products to Russia reduced to the level of Korea
According to State Statistics Service of Ukraine, as of 9 months of 2015 the share of Russia in exports of Ukrainian agricultural production constituted only 2% (USD 197 mln) and took only 15th place, the same as Republic of Korea (2% of total food exports, USD 251 mln).
"These figures show that Ukrainian agricultural producers, that have already experienced Russian food embargo, have been able to diversify their markets during the last few years, that is why imposing embargo by Russia since the start of 2016 is not supposed to have great impact on Ukrainian agribusiness" - expert on agricultural markets of Ukrainian Agribusiness Club Oleksandra Kovalchuk comments.
