Deceleration of rapeseed production rates in Ukraine
Experts of the rating agency "Credit-Rating" forecast the deceleration of rapeseed production rates in Ukraine in the current year, declared the press-cutting service of the agency.
According to Ekaterina Vasina, the head of the sector of agro industrial complex enterprises rating of the agency "Credit-Rating", the market of rapeseed in Ukraine faced off-season period.
The forming of prices for rapeseed will depend on the world industry of biofuel production, which also suffered from the financial crisis, noticed E.Vasina.
According to her, the sudden decrease of oil prices became the new negative factor, which influenced the industry. As a result, the market expects the decrease of demand level for biofuel and the raw material. In Ukraine the prices for rapeseed will exceed the level of November 2008, but will not reach the level of July 2008, supposed the expert.
At the same time, Ukraine still has rather vague prospects of rapeseed production development, and the production capacities are still oriented on export operations.
