Cattle stock grows by 3.3% in Ukraine
Cattle heads’ number has grown by 3.3% since the beginning of the year in Ukraine.
At the same time there is positive dynamics in the milk production. Therefore, the state will continue to support programs of the sectors that contribute to its development. This was stated by Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysyazhnyuk, Government Portal reports. «As of today, there is subsidy for keeping and preservation of young cattle in Ukraine. It helps to increase livestock. A budgetary aid for the purchase of milking machines improves the quality of milk, and hence its purchase price. At the same time, I want to remind you that this summer in Ukraine there was no seasonal price decline in milk,» Mykola Prysyazhnyuk said.
