Bread output 8% down
In January - October 2009, the production volume of bakery goods reached 1.465 million tons, which is 8% less than over the like 2008 period.
According to the State Statistics Committee, in October 150,000 tons of bakery products were made, which is 1.4% up on September 2009 and 7.4% down on October 2008.
Last year the output of bakery goods reached 1.903 million tons, which is 1.8% less than in 2007.
