Biscuit-Chocolate to double exports of New Year gift sets to USA
The corporation Biscuit-Chocolate has started shipping New Year gift sets of confectionery products to the USA. The first batch totalled nearly five tons (11,000 sets). The range includes 16 names of different gifts 270 to 1,430 grams in weight containing chocolates, sweets with praline and fondant, chocolate, hard candies, toffee, nougat-based and waffle-based candies. Orders in 2009 are expected to total 30,000 sets. In 2008, confectionery factories of the corporation exported about 16,000 gift sets weighing in total over eight tons to the USA.
