Biogas plant planned for construction in Donetsk region
An order for an unusual project was made by the joint stock company Ekoprod, one of the largest agricultural enterprises in Donetsk region.
As its director Ivan Melnyk told UKRINFORM correspondent, jointly with German partners they decided to build their own plant to produce biogas. It is interesting that ordinary dung will become a raw material for it, since the Ekoprod has its own cattle farm numbering 7,000 heads.
According to Melnyk, a new production will bring one million cu m of gas, plus 12.5 kWh of electric energy and another 80 thousand tons of liquid fertilizers. It will be enough for their own needs and for own greenhouses, as well as for social culture objects, and even for sale, the Ekoprod director said.
It is expected that a new enterprise will be placed in operation next year.
