Belarusian agricultural companies harvested buckwheat throughout 54.5% of the planned areas
According to operative data as of September 5, agricultural enterprises of Belarus harvested buckwheat throughout the areas of 20.2 thsd ha, or 54.5% of the planned areas, reported the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. The production volumes totaled 30.6 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 15.2 c/ha.
Agrarians harvested grains and leguminous crops (excluding maize, buckwheat and millet) throughout 2.233 mln ha (99% of the sowing areas) and produced 7.66 mln tonnes of grains with the average yield of 34.3 c/ha. All categories of agricultural enterprises harvested 8.06 mln tonnes of grains, including directly agricultural organizations (including buckwheat and millet) - 7.71 mln tonnes.
Agrarians provided sowing of winter grains throughout 226.4 thsd ha, which totaled 14.7% of the plan. Belarus plans to sow winter crops throughout 1.537 mln ha. Agrarians prepared the soil under winter crops throughout 935.2 thsd ha (60.8%).
Agrarians harvested rapeseed throughout 288.8 thsd ha (97.1% of the plan), and produced 474.8 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 16.4 c/ha.
