Belarus produced the first mln tonnes of grains
Belarusian agricultural companies produced the first mln tonnes of grains of the harvest-2011, informed the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
As of the morning of July 25, agricultural organizations of the country produced 1.22 mln tonnes of grains. The average yield totaled 31.7 c/ha.
Generally, agrarians harvested grains and leguminous crops in the country throughout the areas of 385.7 thsd ha, which totaled 15.9% of the harvesting areas.
Agrarians harvested winter rapeseed throughout 196.6 thsd ha, or 78.9% of the harvesting areas. The production volumes totaled 312.1 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 15.9 c/ha.
