Australia. ABB Grain Receives Clearance From ACCC Over Viterra DEA
ABB Grain Ltd reports that it has received notice from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) that it does not propose to intervene, pursuant to section 50 of the Trade Practices Act, in the proposed scheme of arrangement with Viterra Inc.
This was announced to the Australian Securities Exchange on May 19, 2009.
The transaction remains subject to regulatory, shareholder and court approvals, as well as other conditions, the company states.
