As of September 16, Ukraine produced 36.1 mln tonnes of grains

As of September 16, 2011, Ukraine harvested 36.17 mln tonnes of grains throughout the areas of 11.79 mln ha or 76% of the forecast.
The average yield of these crops in the country totaled 30.7 c/ha against 25.4 c/ha last year.
In particular, agrarians harvested 1.043 mln tonnes of maize throughout 205 thsd ha (6% of the forecast). The average yield totaled 50.7 c/ha, as opposed to 39 c/ha in 2010.
Agrarians harvested buckwheat throughout the areas of 219 thsd ha (73% of the forecast), and produced 246.9 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 11.2 c/ha against 8.4 c/ha last year. Ukraine harvested millet throughout 137 thsd ha (84% of the forecast), and produced 267 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 19.5 c/ha (in 2010 - 15.3 c/ha).
Agrarians continued harvesting industrial crops. In particular, as of September 16, Ukraine produced 2.71 mln tonnes of sunflower seed throughout 1.54 mln ha (34%). The average yield totaled 17.6 c/ha, as opposed to 14.9 c/ha in 2010.
Ukrainian agrarians harvested soybean throughout 205 thsd ha (18% of the forecast), and produced 397 thsd tonnes with the yield of 19.4 c/ha (in 2010 - 14.4 c/ha).
