As of October 12, Russia produced 91.8 mln tonnes of grains in bunker weight

As of October 12, Russia produced 91.8 mln tonnes of grains in bunker weight, an increase of 30 mln tonnes compared to the same date 2010, or down nearly 5 mln tonnes compared to 2009, declared the Ministry of Agriculture.
Agrarians harvested grains and leguminous crops throughout the areas of 39.7 mln ha, or 90% of the planned areas. The average yield reached 23.1 c/ha against 18.9 c/ha last year, but down almost 1 c/ha compared to 2009 results.
According to forecasts of the Ministry of Agriculture, the general grain harvest in Russia in 2011 will exceed the level of 90 mln tonnes in clean weight against 60.9 mln tonnes in 2010, and 97 mln tonnes in 2009.
