As of July 30, Ukraine sold over 2 mln tonnes of new crop grains on the exchange market
According to official data of the Ministry of the Agrarian Policy, as of July 30, 2010, the trading volumes of grains of the harvest-2010 on the exchange market of Ukraine totaled nearly 2.11 mln tonnes, including 0.87 mln tonnes – on spot conditions, nearly 1.24 mln tonnes – on forward conditions.
We should notice that traders sold 415 tonnes of grains under internal contracts, 2.11 mln tonnes were sold under export contract conditions.
The trading volumes of milling grains on the exchange market totaled 793.2 thsd tonnes, including786 thsd tonnes of wheat, 6 thsd tonnes of rye, 268 thsd tonnes of leguminous plants. The trading volumes of feed grains totaled over 1.29 mln tonnes, including 169 thsd tonnes of wheat, 55 thsd tonnes of maize, almost 1.07 mln tonnes of barley.
According to official data of the Ministry of the Agrarian Policy, as of July 30, the volume of trade of oilseeds of the harvest-2010 on the exchange market of Ukraine totaled 393.46 thsd tonnes, including 223.6 thsd tonnes - on spot conditions, nearly 170 thsd tonnes – on forward conditions.
Traders sold 325 tonnes of oilseeds from the general reporting volumes under internal contracts, 393 thsd tonnes were sold under export contract conditions.
The trading volumes of rapeseed on the exchange market totaled 383 thsd tonnes. The structure of export trading was formed by the following volumes: 221 thsd tonnes – on spot conditions, 161 thsd tonnes – on forward conditions.
The trading volumes of soybean on the exchange market of Ukraine totaled 7.9 thsd tonnes, including 1 thsd tonnes – on spot conditions, 6.9 thsd tonnes – on forward conditions.
