As of Jan-Sept, agrarians surged grains sales by 43.6%, up to 19.67 mn MT
In Jan-Sept 2009 agricultural companies have lifted grains sales to 19.67 mn MT, up 5.969 mn MT (+ 43.6%) against Jan-Sept 2008, reported State Statistics Committee.
As for Jan-Sept 2009 grains sales structure, companies sold 3.9% total grains to processors; 0.9% were given to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries, 4.5% - to shareholders on account of land plots/property shares rental payment.
7% grains were sold on markets (83.7% - through other trade channels).
As to report, in Jan-Sept 2008 agrarians sold 13.701 mn MT grains.
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, in Jan-Aug 2009 agrarians had hoisted grains sales to 16.163 mn MT, up 5.889 mn MT (+ 57.3%) against Jan-Aug 2008.
