As of December 7, Ukraine produced 46.31 mln tonnes of grains
As of December 7, 2012, Ukraine harvested grains and leguminous crops throughout the areas of 14.6 mln ha, or 99% of the forecast. The produced volumes totaled 46.31 mln tonnes of grains with the average yield of 31.7 c/ha.
According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, on the same date in 2011 agrarians produced 57.72 mln tonnes of grains throughout the areas of 15.23 mln ha with the yield of 37.9 c/ha.
As of the reporting date in 2012, agrarians almost completed the harvesting campaign of maize. Agrarians harvested the grain throughout 4.27 mln ha (98%), and produced 19.93 mln tonnes of the grain, the average yield – 46.7 c/ha.
