As of August 22, Belarus produced 7.393 mln tonnes of grains
As of the morning of August 22, agrarians of Belarus harvested grains and leguminous crops throughout the areas of 2.13 mln ha (94% of the sowing areas), declared the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
All agricultural enterprises of Belarus produced 7.393 mln tonnes of grains with the average yield of 34.7 c/ha, up 5 c/ha compared to 2010.
Agrarians of Belarus started harvesting buckwheat and millet. The country harvested buckwheat throughout 2.4 thsd ha from the planned areas of 37 thsd ha. The production volumes totaled 4.1 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 17.2 c/ha. Agrarians harvested millet throughout 2.5 thsd ha, which totaled 19.2% of the sowing areas. The production volumes totaled 5.7 thsd tonnes with the average yield of 23.2 c/ha. The country almost concluded the harvesting campaign of flaxseed.
As of the reporting date agrarians provided the sowing campaign of winter rapeseed. Belarus sowed the oilseed throughout 336.8 thsd ha (79.8% of the plan).
