Arbuzov: Government to prevent unjustified rise in prices for agricultural products
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will prevent an unjustified rise in prices for agricultural products, especially when this years yield is higher than last years.
First Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov said this after a government meeting on Thursday.
Its important that every Ukrainian feel a good harvest. Therefore, the government will monitor the prices of agricultural products. We will prevent their unjustified growth, he said.
According to Arbuzov, Ukrainian farmers have already collected almost 27 million tons of grain from 85% of the area. Its noteworthy that this years yield is 4.8 quintals per hectare higher than last years. Now it stands at 29.5 quintals per hectare,he added.
