Arbuzov: Agreement with IMF to be signed this autumn
Negotiations on the continuation of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) are ongoing, and a loan agreement for about $15 billion is to be signed this autumn.
Ukrainian First Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov said this during his working visit to Vinnytsia region on Tuesday, Ukrinform reported.
"The issue concerns a new program where the amount of the loan is envisaged at about $15 billion. However, the discussions on this issue are ongoing. This autumn we expect the mission that will resolve everything. We are currently finalizing the issues that are important to the IMF, and I think that this autumn we should sign a long-awaited agreement," the first deputy prime minister said.
He also added that the new program is being developed during the discussion of different points of view.
"We are working fruitfully, because truth is born in an argument," Arbuzov said.
