Agroton attracts USD 42mn via placing 4mn ADR
The Lugansk-based agricultural and industrial holding Agroton has attracted USD 42mn (EUR 28.03mn) via placing 4mn American Depositary Receipt (ADR) issued in the ratio 1:1 to shares of the company. The Kiev-based investment company Phoenix Capital was the financial consultant of placement. According to the Bank of New York Mellon, a larger part of receipts, 3.986mn, was placed outside the USA.
Agroton is engaged in growing cereals, oil-bearing crops, production of cattle-breeding goods, bakery products, pasta, and cheese.
