Agriculture minister says sugar wont rise in price due to last years stocks
Sugar stocks, which have been accumulated over the past years, allow to keep the price at the current level, Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Mykola Prysiazhniuk told reporters in Kharkiv region on Monday.
Over the past two years, we have such carryover stocks that even in July, in time of canning, jam cooking, the price of sugar is kept at the same level. Therefore, there are no prerequisites for the rise in price, the minister emphasized.
