Agricultural producers attract credits at UAH 3.1 billion for sowing campaign - Arbuzov
Agricultural producers used UAH 3.1 billion for holding autumn field works in 2013 and UAH 29.1 billion of own funds.

“Domestic agricultural producers attracted UAH 3.1 billion of credits and UAH 29.1 billion of own funds for autumn field works in 2013. Attraction of credit funds and the effective use of financing under state support programs is a key priority in work of the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry for 2013-2014 marketing year,” the First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov stresses.
The official assured that the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry managed to elaborate tangible instruments for rendering financial support to enterprises of the agroindustrial complex: agricultural producers may participate in grain purchases carried out by the Agrarian Fund and the State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine, receive state guarantees on investment projects and the necessary machinery under NJSC Ukragroleasing programs.
According to him, tax exemptions are the main source of support for agricultural producers. “Thus, a special regime of VAT taxation for activities in the spheres of agriculture, forestry and fishery (VAT accumulation) continues operating in Ukraine, as well as fixed agricultural tax,” Arbuzov said.
