Agrarians to be provided with fuel
The Cabinet issued an instruction that envisages carrying out measures on providing agricultural producers with oil products for the time of harvesting in 2009.
Thus, the Fuel and Energy Ministry and the NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine should determine the daughter company Ukrgazvydobuvannia as an enterprise that will provide diesel oil and gasoline for agricultural producers over June-August 2009. In particular, it is expected to allocate diesel oil - 39,000 tons, gasoline - 51,000 tons over June-August 2009 for the total sowing area of 26,700 thousand ha. At the same time, each month 13 thousand tons of diesel oil and 17 thousand tons of gasoline will be provided each month. According to the document, distribution of oil products should be carried out proportionally to sowing areas in Ukraine's regions.
The Ukrgazvydobuvannia and the NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine should ensure selling of the designated volumes of diesel oil and gasoline at a price with VAT included not higher than UAH 4,500 /ton and UAH 5,500/ton (USD 1/UAH 7.61).
