Agrarians Jan-Sept pigs sales down 2.8%, to 197,393 MT
As to State Statistics Committee report, in Jan-Sept 2009 agricultural companies have lowered pigs sales to 197,393 MT, down 5,726 MT
(- 2.8%) as of Jan-Sept 2008.
As for Jan-Sept 2009 pigs sales structure, agrarians have sold 59.3% total pigs to processors; 2.7% were given to population (incl. public catering system) on account of salaries; 0.2% were given to shareholders on account of land plots/property shares rental payment.
As to Committee, 15.3% pigs were sold on markets, 22.5% – through other trade channels.
As to report, in Jan-Sept 2008 agrarians sold 203,119 MT pigs.
As to Agro Perspective earlier report, in Jan-Aug 2009 agricultural companies had declined pigs sales to 174,963 MT, down 7,769 MT (- 4.3%) as of Jan-Aug 2008.
