Agrarians attract UAH 5.7bln loans
As of December 3, 2009, the Ukrainian farm producers have raised UAH 5.7 billion of credit resources (USD 1 - UAH 7.97), 36% of the attracted funds year-over-year, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy has reported.
The agrarians drew UAH 4.1 billion of short-term credits, UAH 1.1 billion of medium-term loans and UAH 500 million of long-term loans.
In addition, as many as UAH 2,545 billion of credits have been raised on special terms (23% to the like period of 2008), including short-term loans - UAH 2.2 billion, medium-term loans - UAH 264 million and long-term loans - UAH 55.7 million.
A total of 2,006 farm enterprises attracted credits and 926 - preferential credits.
