Agrarian Fund of Ukraine to sell 0.5 mln tons of grains till the end of 2008/09 MY
The Agrarian Fund of Ukraine plans to sell 0.5 mln tons of grains till the end of the marketing year – July 1, 2009, declared Vladimir Ivanishin, the general director of the Agrarian Fund.
According to him, the organization will sell 4-grade wheat. From the beginning of the marketing year, the Agrarian Fund purchased 2.4 mln tons of grains and sold over 1 mln tons of grains.
The Fund has not renewed forward purchases of grains, but plans to do such steps, noticed V.Ivanishin. As a reminder, on May 13, Yuri Melnik, the Minister of Agrarian Policy, declared that the Agrarian Fund would renew forward purchases of grains in May of the current year.
