Agrarian fund has contracted 80,000 tons of 2013 grain harvest by forward
The Agrarian Fund of Ukraine on February 7, in the framework of the forward public procurements program, entered into contracts for the purchase of the 2013 grain harvest in the total amount of 80 thousand tons, the press service of the institution told UKRINFORM.
"31 farmers took part in the exchange auctions. The most active were farmers of the south - the enterprises of Kherson region contracted 26 thousand tons of grain, and Crimea nearly 16 thousand tons," the Agrarian Fund informs.
During the first quarter of 2013, the Agrarian Fund intends to conclude forward contracts for the supply of about 700 thousand tons of grain.
