Agrarian Fund gives 124,000 tonnes of grain to bakers
The Agrarian Fund concluded contracts with flour mills for processing 124 tonnes of grain. The Agrarian Fund press service informs about this.
“For regulation of price fluctuations on consumer bread markets, the Agrarian Fund continues to fulfill a function of the state operator on provision of baking companies with flour in the current year to produce cheap sorts of bread. Between the PJSC Agrarian Fund and flour mills contracts were concluded for processing of 124,000 tonnes of grain. Processing enterprises were determined in 20 regions,” a statement reads.
According to the press service of the Agrarian Fund, the volumes of flour supply on requests from regional state administrations were determined at 82,000 tonnes monthly.
Most actively flour received today by baking enterprises from Ivano-Frankivsk, Poltava and Chernivtsi regions.
The Agrarian Fund noted that grain processing from state grain stocks is carried out at processing enterprises of Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovohrad, Luhansk, Poltava, Kharkiv, Cherkasy and Chernivtsi regions.
Flour selling is carried out at fixed prices, which have not changed since 2011: top grade flour - UAH 2,896/tonne, first grain flour - UAH 2,711/tonne, second grade flour - UAH 2,381/tonne, rye flour - UAH 2,279/tonne.
