Ukraine Bans Pig and Pork Products Imports From Russian Region.
Ukraine has banned import of pigs and pork products from Russia's Volgograd Region due to registered cases of African hog cholera there, according to local media reports.

Soil moisture content improved considerably
Soil moisture replenished significantly as a result of winter precipitation. For example, the content of productive moisture at the one-meter soil layer equals 160-170 mm in Kherson region (one of the most arid region of Ukraine) even on sown fields that were not fallow prior to planting last fall. That is 30-45% higher than average annual values. This moisture is an important positive factor contributing to crop formation in this arid region.
