Zerno Ukrainy will export grain under intergovernmental agreements, said Anatoliy Razgon, director of the Ag Ministry’s agricultural market development department. “This company shall perform some of the Agrarian Fund’s state regulatory functions in that part where this government agency just cannot perform these functions,” said the official.

Every day Ukrainian railway discharges about 500 cars with grains
In 2010 Ukrainian railways transported 8.175 MMT of grain cargoes, including 6.55 MMT of grain transported to ports for exports. As of Sept 17 more than 1.6 MMT of grain cargoes were carried in domestic traffic. The main types of grain cargo which transported by rail in Ukraine are wheat, barley, maize, rapeseed and sunflower.
