2010 GDP growth to post 3-3.7% - Economy Minister
Ukraine's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in 2010 may grow by 3-3.7% and with improvement of the global macroeconomic situation the outlook may advance to 6%, Minister of Economy Bohdan Danylyshyn has said Tuesday.
"The harvest in 2009, the balance of staple goods consumption both afford ground for forecasting in 2010 a moderate inflation at one-figure level - 9.7%," the minister said.
According to him, if the macroeconomic situation stabilizes we should expect strengthening of the national currency rate to the US dollar at UAH 6.5.
