Sunoil production on rise in Ukraine
In January-October 2009, production of sunflower oil in Ukraine grew to 2,166,000 tons by 57.4% compared to the like period of 2008, the State Statistics Committee has reported.

Government predicts GDP growth in 2010
In 2010, Ukraine's nominal GDP will reach UAH 1.178 trillion, and real GDP - 103.7% of 2009. This forecast was made in the 2010 state program for economic and social development, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers and presented in parliament on November 19.

Grain sowings to total nearly 16 mln ha

38% of examined juice fails to meet standards
Specialists of the State Committee for Technical Regulation and Consumer Policy of Ukraine (Derzhspozhivstandard, Gospotrebstandart) have examined 73,000 litres of juice and juice-containing products in Q3 2009, 28,000 litres of them (38%) have been declared not to meet the existing norms, and have been withdrawn from retail outlets.

Beet sugar output 1 million tons
