Agro-Technology Days. Sowing

Association ‘Ukrainian Agribusiness Club’ together with AgriEvent Agency invite you to visit second event as a part of the project ‘Agro-Technology Days’ dedicated to demonstration of leading-edge technologies of sowing.

The event will present and display operation under the field conditions of agricultural equipment produced by leading international manufacturers, generators of agricultural technologies. The event will take place with active participation of all members of the UCAB as well as all agricultural producers that are interested in implementing these technologies.

Why is it worth attending this event?

Participants will be illustrated dramatically the real technologies of sunflower sowing. The field is prepared for planting, i.e. pre-sowing tillage is carried out and the field will be further processed for harvesting.

 Agro-Technology Days of UCAB envisages the following:

• opportunity to test in the field conditions agricultural machinery of the leading manufacturers, test and evaluate it;

• demonstration of modern technologies in agricultural engineering industry;

• 200+ participants - agricultural producers from central regions of Ukraine;

• communication with production directors, chief agricolists, chief engineers of the top 20 agricultural holdings of Ukraine - members of UCAB with land bank of nearly 4 million ha.

During the event a group of experts will evaluate the following parameters of machinery:

- observance of sowing depth

- precision of seeding (equal distance between seeds)

- absence or presence of twins, missed places

- quality of sowing at speed of 8 km/h.

- quality of sowing at speed of 14 km/h.

- visual assessment of the quality of harvest emergence: sending of the first video from unmanned aerial vehicle 3 weeks following the date of sowing. During period of vegetation, pictures from unmanned aerial vehicle will be submitted.
