Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine to found the State Agrarian Bank, Agrarian Exchange, and the national grain market operator
On June 23, Nikolay Prysiaghniuk, the Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, announced that the Ministry of Agrarian Policy is working-up the law decrees regarding the further foundation of the State Agrarian Bank, the Agrarian Exchange, and also the national grain market operator.

Ukraine: Ag Ministry proposes to change its approach to distributing agricultural subsidies
According to the Minister, the way agricultural subsidies and loans are distributed will change.The Cabinet of Ministers is going to cancel the subsidies and interest rate compensations. Instead, it will introduce a system of lending through the Agrarian Fund and UkrTransLeasing, which will receive 50% government agricultural support funds.

Ukraine: Viktor Slauta suggests raising prices for export grain

WTO against US poultry ban
China appears to have «notched up a victory» in a dispute against the US over the latter’s ban on poultry imports, according to an interim report by the World Trade Organization (WTO). «We think the US will not try to impose a similar ban in the next fiscal year, since it would be regarded as open defiance of the latest WTO ruling,» a Ministry of Commerce official, who declined to be named, reports state, adding that Beijing had received the WTO report.
